...and the sun is finally shining! Here are some spring highlights:
the garlic is sizing up in the field
a trailer load of tomatoes ready for planting
Our newest addition: Planet Jr. junior-bought as a 'parts' machine, it has more parts than our old one that we used to plant last year's beans. And it comes in tangerine.
It's the only way to plant...
an acre of beans! Wheee!

Do you grow Cardoon? I am desperately seeking a supplier for bushel quantities?
I have to admit I started a flat of Cardoon this spring, but I seem to have lost it. Seriously, it's gone. I think the Cardoon Cleptos have been at it again Has anyone seen my cardoon?
I would check at New Roots Farm... I understand they love Cardoon
Very suspicious, we seem to be missing a flat of cardoon as well. Well, maybe not "missing". Neglected for sure. Dead, dried up, done. I think my husband had something to do with that.
Oh dear. What a tragedy. You are going to have to change your farm name now. I asked around about our Cardoon, and to my surprise, I found it in the ground and thriving amongst some job's tears and cornichon plants. Fear not, Cardoon lovers...the Cardoon has indeed been FOUND! Soon we shall feast.
